The Martines had me out to their home in June to photograph their new edition, Mr. C. He’s their first child, and they worked really hard on his nursery and wanted to get a few pictures in it. Mom and Dad are adorable new parents, but Dad really captured my heart when talking about building his new son a tree house and all the fun they’ll have together. Too sweet!
Mr. C is a sweet little one, and if I remember right, he was about 3 month old when we did our session. Enjoy his cute face!
Love that little smile!
The teddy bear was Mom’s when she was a baby! I love that!
There’s nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!
Love those little ears too!
My favorite shot of the day!
Thanks again Martines for having me out to take pictures of your beautiful son!
I am obviously quite behind on my blogging! I am hoping to get caught up and be better about regularly blogging on here. I find it hard to keep up with a full time job, a part-time photography job, updating my Facebook pages-both personal and photography, my professional website AND this blog. Phew! I also have a personal blog that has been neglected for almost a year. I think I’ve mostly given up on it. Summer has been great, lots of business to keep me busy, I started a new job working at Daimler Trucks (aka Freightliner). Rick and I have had something going every single weekend since June, and that is going to continue through mid-October! I can’t really complain though, because its all been good things to do-and a lot of fun. We’ve had 3 weddings so far this summer, and I am shooting 2 more in September. So with all of that, I will defer to the pictures, and do my best to be better at blogging!
I met with the Moehring Family back in May (told you I was behind!) and spent a few hours with them. We went up to Camp Rivendell, on Cooper Mountain and it was really pretty. The flowers were just starting to bloom, thanks to our long winter and slow to warm up Spring. Their kids are beyond adorable and full of energy, as most kids are, so they were a lot of fun to shoot. We ended the session back at their house, which is always fun to get kids in their own element. Mom’s parents were in town and came with us to help wrangle the kids, and get a few pictures in as well.
How cute are they, all blonde headed!
Cute Daddy Daughter duo!
Grandpa & Grandma
Mom and her boy
Back at the family’s house…
Some fun with bubbles!
Who doesn’t love a tutu and rainboots?
And my favorite picture of the day!
Thanks again Moehrings for having me out to take pictures of your beautiful family. It was so much fun, and I hope we get to do it again!
Ruby recently turned three and her Mom wanted to get some pictures of the big girl all by herself! Ruby happens to be my favorite three year old, so we had a fun time while taking her pictures. Thank you Ruby for letting me take such cute pictures of you!
We had to get one with her favorite blankie.
Such a sweet girl!
Playing is an important part of my sessions with kids!
Sisters & Best friends!
I met up with the Clark Family in the Pearl District on a cold January day. Little Ella was grumpy, but we managed to get some smiles out of her anyway.
Ella has gorgeous baby blues!
Daddy is adorable with Ella
And Mommy is stunning
Such a cute family
Daddy is the smile expert I think

I think Mom and Dad have a little flirt on their hands!
Thanks again for coming to meet me for pictures Clark Family! You guys are too cute, and even a grumpy Ella was fun to take pictures of!
I visited the Marsees on New Year’s Eve in their home to get some pictures of their family. This family has FOUR daughters, and they are the sweetest, cutest girls. I had so much fun playing with the girls and getting to see their personalities shine through as we took pictures.
Mae, the youngest has some seriously beautiful eyes!
Mom made these adorable signs for the girls
Dad and Madison
Sometimes shooting in people’s homes is perfect because you come across perfect props, like these great blocks!
These two are awfully sweet, they are definitely each other’s best friend!
More of Mae’s stunning baby blues!
Dad & Mom
I love Savannah’s silly face
Poor Maddy had a hard time with my flash. She had her eyes closed in several of the pictures, but I think they’re still pretty cute!
Thanks again Marsees for having me in your home. I can’t wait til February when I get to go back and take Ruby’s 3 year pictures!
Nichole asked me to take pictures of her whole family as a Christmas present for her parents and Grandma. We rounded up the whole family over Christmas weekend, and since it was a very nasty day outside, we decided to use the common room at Nichole’s condo building. It ended up working out well and we got some great shots of a great looking family!
4 generations of women
I love this one of Nichole and her brother
Nichole’s immediate family
Nichole’s brother and his adorable family
Its obvious this pretty girl has captured her Grandpa’s heart!
Nichole also wanted a few pictures of her with her fur family
With her beautiful Weimaraner
Love this one of the kitty and pup
And one last one of doggy
Thank you again Connollys for spending some time with me over Christmas. It was a joy to take pictures with you all!
At the end of November, I met the Hall family at Peninsula Park in Portland to take some family pictures for the holidays. It was really cold, but we lucked out with some dry weather! Peninsula Park is one of my favorites in Portland, and although its much nicer in the summer with the rose gardens, it offers a great location in the fall and winter for pictures as well.
I loved Eva’s frilly pink skirt!
This picture is ALL attitude! Watch out for the teenage years!
Dylan’s Aunt was in town from Florida and wanted to get a few pictures with her favorite great niece as well
Daddy-Daughter shots are always a winner!
I think this is my most favorite shot of the day. What a beauty!
I love adding props to pictures, especially for the holidays
We had to get a few with Eva’s pretty pink rain coat and adorable butterfly rain boots!
We took some time to play in the puddles…
Dylan & Jen had been coaching Eva on seeing Santa, and had been practicing how to smile for Santa. This is what she came up with! I love a good Santa smile!
Eva’s cute bootsThank you Hall family for a fun morning at Peninsula Park! Your family is always a joy to take pictures of!
I met Stephine and Anna at Laurelhurt park one sunny November morning for Mother/Daughter pictures. We had a lot of fun exploring the park, and Anna is such a fun, energetic little girl! November is such a great time for family pictures with the turning leaves.
Such a cute girl!
Anna was certainly not camera shy! I had fun getting shots of her just being goofy.
Stephine had just recently gotten 2 new tattoos. I knew we had to get some of her “Anna” tattoo with Anna too.
Showing off the 2nd tattoo…
We found these great bricks that said LOVE on them! They made for some fun pictures!
Thanks again girls for such a fun morning! It was a pleasure photographing such a cute Mother-Daughter duo!
