Its hard to believe its already time for Mr. C’s 6 month pictures! Time is flying! I have been keeping really busy with weddings, families, seniors etc during late summer and early fall. Now that the weddings are over for the year, I can take more time to edit and update my site and blog. Yay!
Mom wanted to get a few shots of Mr. C in his Halloween costume. Too cute, little Lion Man!
I actually really loved Mom’s idea of doing pictures around their family home, just doing regular routine things around the house. She wanted to capture some of dinner time, since baby is just recently eating food.
I loved this “baby bird” shot!
Emily and Brandon are such great parents. I love watching them interact with their little one!
Such a big boy! Thanks again E & B for having me in your home to capture some precious moments with your little one! I’m looking forward to our next time already, and seeing how Mr. C will grow and change!
The Martines had me out to their home in June to photograph their new edition, Mr. C. He’s their first child, and they worked really hard on his nursery and wanted to get a few pictures in it. Mom and Dad are adorable new parents, but Dad really captured my heart when talking about building his new son a tree house and all the fun they’ll have together. Too sweet!
Mr. C is a sweet little one, and if I remember right, he was about 3 month old when we did our session. Enjoy his cute face!
The teddy bear was Mom’s when she was a baby! I love that!
I am obviously quite behind on my blogging! I am hoping to get caught up and be better about regularly blogging on here. I find it hard to keep up with a full time job, a part-time photography job, updating my Facebook pages-both personal and photography, my professional website AND this blog. Phew! I also have a personal blog that has been neglected for almost a year. I think I’ve mostly given up on it. Summer has been great, lots of business to keep me busy, I started a new job working at Daimler Trucks (aka Freightliner). Rick and I have had something going every single weekend since June, and that is going to continue through mid-October! I can’t really complain though, because its all been good things to do-and a lot of fun. We’ve had 3 weddings so far this summer, and I am shooting 2 more in September. So with all of that, I will defer to the pictures, and do my best to be better at blogging!
I met with the Moehring Family back in May (told you I was behind!) and spent a few hours with them. We went up to Camp Rivendell, on Cooper Mountain and it was really pretty. The flowers were just starting to bloom, thanks to our long winter and slow to warm up Spring. Their kids are beyond adorable and full of energy, as most kids are, so they were a lot of fun to shoot. We ended the session back at their house, which is always fun to get kids in their own element. Mom’s parents were in town and came with us to help wrangle the kids, and get a few pictures in as well.
Back at the family’s house…
Thanks again Moehrings for having me out to take pictures of your beautiful family. It was so much fun, and I hope we get to do it again!
I met up with the Clark Family in the Pearl District on a cold January day. Little Ella was grumpy, but we managed to get some smiles out of her anyway.
Ella has gorgeous baby blues!
Daddy is adorable with Ella
And Mommy is stunning
Such a cute family
Daddy is the smile expert I think
I love this cute chunky face
I think Mom and Dad have a little flirt on their hands!
Thanks again for coming to meet me for pictures Clark Family! You guys are too cute, and even a grumpy Ella was fun to take pictures of!
Nichole asked me to take pictures of her whole family as a Christmas present for her parents and Grandma. We rounded up the whole family over Christmas weekend, and since it was a very nasty day outside, we decided to use the common room at Nichole’s condo building. It ended up working out well and we got some great shots of a great looking family!
At the end of November, I met the Hall family at Peninsula Park in Portland to take some family pictures for the holidays. It was really cold, but we lucked out with some dry weather! Peninsula Park is one of my favorites in Portland, and although its much nicer in the summer with the rose gardens, it offers a great location in the fall and winter for pictures as well.
Dylan’s Aunt was in town from Florida and wanted to get a few pictures with her favorite great niece as well
I think this is my most favorite shot of the day. What a beauty!
We had to get a few with Eva’s pretty pink rain coat and adorable butterfly rain boots!
We took some time to play in the puddles…
Dylan & Jen had been coaching Eva on seeing Santa, and had been practicing how to smile for Santa. This is what she came up with! I love a good Santa smile!
