I met up with the Foteff Family at the beginning of October, out at Liepold Farms’ pumpkin patch. I had never done a shoot at a pumpkin patch, but I thought it was such a great idea, with corn fields and pumpkins for background and added color! The little one is 6 months old and even though she didn’t want to do much smiling for me, she was still adorable and a lot of fun to photograph! Hope you enjoy!
I met up with the adorable Skelton family at Laurelhurst Park a few weekends ago, on one of those awesome sunny Fall Portland days. I had never met them, but it was so fun to run around the park with their beautiful and busy daughters!
Such a cute family!
I really love this one of Miss L
Megan and Johnnie are high school sweethearts and friends of mine! After being together for years, they finally decided to tie the knot in September. The wedding was held at the groom’s sisters home, with a large open field, surrounded by farm land. The weather was not good, it rained all day and at the last minute they decided to move the ceremony from outside to under the reception tent. We made do with the weather and did our best to get pictures between the downpours!
Megan’s dress was simple, but gorgeous. It was totally her.
The first look, his face is too cute!
Becky is my best friend in the whole world! We have been best friends since the 3rd grade-going on 24 years I think. Sadly, she lives all the way in Boise, while she’s in school, but she came into town in July and we were able to take a trip to the beach together, which was a lot of fun. Becky’s Dad recently got married and his new wife requested a large picture of Becky to hang in their hallway next to pictures of her kids’ senior pictures. I happily obliged and we were able to take some time while at the beach and get some frame-worthy pictures!
Becky has always been gorgeous, and with a good location and some good light, she’s even more so!
In July my friend Kelly and I attended the Eddie Vedder and Glen Hansard concert at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall (or Schnitz as we call it!). It was a truly amazing show, in a fantastic venue. A good portion of the concert was Eddie playing songs on his ukelele, but he also did some Pearl Jam songs and I really loved that it felt like you were just sitting in his living room listening to him playing. It felt unlike any other show I’ve been to, plus he had 2 long encores. I could take pictures of Eddie all day, but here are a few of my favorites from the evening!
Welcome to Eddie’s “living room”!
Since I’m not really upkeeping my personal blog anymore, I am going to try and put some personal posts on here as well about some of the fun things that my husband Rick and I do. We are both super busy and social and I try my best to take a lot of pictures of all the fun things we do.
We had a really fun 3-day 4th of July weekend filled with fun and friends. Here are some pictures of our weekend!
Rick and I both play in a kickball league and were invited to play in a fun game that weekend. The only rule was you had to have a drink in hand the whole game. It was really fun, they call it Slosh Ball Here’s a shot of all the participants…Rick is in the white shirt in the chair and I’m in the orange on the right!

Around firework time we headed over to the Marriott on the waterfront. Our friends had rooms there for the night, with balconies overlooking the Blues Festival and the firework show. The rooms were on the top floor of the hotel, directly in front of the firework show. It ended up being the most perfect spot to watch the fireworks and gave a different vantage point of the city that I hadn’t seen before.
The Marriott from our vantage point…lots of other people on their balconies too
I visited the Marsees on New Year’s Eve in their home to get some pictures of their family. This family has FOUR daughters, and they are the sweetest, cutest girls. I had so much fun playing with the girls and getting to see their personalities shine through as we took pictures.
Mae, the youngest has some seriously beautiful eyes!
At the end of November, I met the Hall family at Peninsula Park in Portland to take some family pictures for the holidays. It was really cold, but we lucked out with some dry weather! Peninsula Park is one of my favorites in Portland, and although its much nicer in the summer with the rose gardens, it offers a great location in the fall and winter for pictures as well.
Dylan’s Aunt was in town from Florida and wanted to get a few pictures with her favorite great niece as well
I think this is my most favorite shot of the day. What a beauty!
We had to get a few with Eva’s pretty pink rain coat and adorable butterfly rain boots!
We took some time to play in the puddles…
Dylan & Jen had been coaching Eva on seeing Santa, and had been practicing how to smile for Santa. This is what she came up with! I love a good Santa smile!
